Salmos 18

Salmos 18:29-30

He also said, 'The will of man is a wall of brass, and a stone barrier between himself and God. If he puts it aside, he can say the words of the psalm, "By the help of my God I shall leap over the wall" and, "as for my God, his way is undefiled" (Ps. 18:29–30). If good conduct helps the will, then a man will do good.' — The Desert Fathers, Sayings of the Early Christian Monks
