Marcos 7
Clarke noted that this Gentile woman's prayer had nine important features "1. It is short; 2. humble; 3. full of faith; 4. fervent; 5. modest; 6. respectful; 7. rational; 8. relying only on the mercy of God; 9. persevering.” The demon has gone out of your daughter - The woman does not ask for any additional evidence, but takes Jesus at His promise. She believed what He said. Has gone (exerchomai same verb used in verse 30 of the demon) is in the perfect tense, describing the demon's leaving at a point in time and still gone, so that her present state was not possessed!
